The Liebster Award

Aha! Aha! I was in a pleasant surprise when I had checked my e-mail. When I had been basking in the glory of The Sunshine Blogger Award, my sweetie darling twin Deepika had nominated me for yet another award. Thank you soooo much dearie!!!!

Deepika is the new radiance in my life. She is almost a mirror-image of mine. When we chat, there is no end to it unless we pull away to do house chores or other pending work which we ought to do. 😀 She is my source of motivation. Wish we could have been best friends in college or born as real sisters. 🙂

Well, the questions she has asked are quiet simple to answer. Some of them even put me in a strong sense of nostalgia. So I am gonna answer them now. Get set go!

1.What is your best childhood memory?

The entire of my 1st std in Cochin, Kerala. Despite being termed as a calm kid, I did a few mischievous things which landed me in trouble. Incomplete homework, stealing marbles and fighting with neighbors to name a few. I had so much fun in being naughty! Teeheeheeeee!! 😀

2.If you can reverse time and change something, what would it be?

I would surely change a few decisions which I had taken. The major one being my 12th std course. I would have rather opted for Commerce group! 😛

3.What do you feel most proud of?

Of course, my parents! I feel the most proud of them. Without them, I am nothing.

4.If given the choice, what three objects will you take into your next life?

My laptop, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and an Ipod with only A.R.Rahman songs.

5.If you won the lottery, what will you do?

Well, I am no Mother Teresa to tell that I would completely donate it for some charity purpose. Of course, I would do that with an ample share from the total money. But foremost, I would save it for something big in the future. Like, buying my own house or a car. Or even more books to read. 😀

6.What are you most afraid of?

Philosophically, I am afraid of negativity, low self-esteem, fear and anger. Practically, I am afraid of lizards. Those sticky creatures just freak me out!

7.Who was your first crush and how long did it exist? (No celebrity names)

Well, my first crush goes way back in 1999 when I was in my 1st std. I think his name was Vaibho or Vaibhav. I don’t remember properly. But I used to steal away even his notebooks and carry them in my bag! 😛

8.Do you dance crazy when no one is looking?

Then, what else? I would turn up the volume and dance to my heart’s content.

9.If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?

If I could live in a book, I would be Tara Khanolkar from my recent favorite In The Shadow of Inheritance by Manjiri Prabhu. If I could live in a TV show, then I would be Anamika from the then soap opera Anamika in Sony TV. If I could live in a movie, then I would be Parineeta Chopra from Hasee Toh Phasee or Amyra Dastur from Anegan or Anushka Shetty from Arundhati.

10.If you are blessed with immortality, how will you spend your eternity?

I will keep penning novels after novels, hoping that my writing brings about a change in someone in the world.

11.What would be your perfect day?

My perfect day would be when I have enough time to finish the goal that I had set on that day. 🙂
